My client is a leading Facilities Management provider that operates nationally. We are currently recruiting for a creative Assistant Bid Writer for an exciting proactive company in its sector.

Responsibilities & requirements

  • Work with the Bid team to manage bid submission by managing the inputs required from all parts of the business, - Operations, HR, Finance, IT, Health & Safety
  • Liaising with other Business Units to understand workloads and the input required from the BDM team
  • Management of the Bid administration function to ensure that necessary reports, bid tracker and reporting are prepared and submitted on time
  • Maintain and supply up to date monthly sales reports to the Head of Sales, MD and others as requested for analysis and use at board meetings.
  • By working with the Business Development Managers, Bid Managers and Head of Sales ensure that all sales and client relationship activity is recorded.
  • Building a library of the most recent material used and coordinate the Business Development computer drive
  • Understand markets, including best practice, key competitors, governing legislation and key contracts.
  • Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Must have experience within a facilities management organisation
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships with the proposals team and other key management
  • Competent understanding of the bid process
  • Solutions management
  • Work within representative groups to develop bespoke and innovative proposals
  • Assisting in the successful structuring, designing and producing of proposals in order to Win business
  • Ability to work within a team and independently.
  • Must have experience within a facilities management organisation
