Commissary Manager / Kitchen Manager – Rockville, MD
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday (off Friday & Saturdays each week!)
Manage all operational aspects of production facility and processes to include: raw material receiving, storage and handling, production, final product storage and loading/delivery. Implementing food safety systems, quality assurance procedures, and recall programs; in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines.
- Minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience in a foodservice facility
- Expert knowledge of DOH Guidelines, GMP’s and HACCP
- HACCP certification required
- A commitment to and passion for healthy, nutritious and safe food.
- Strong leadership, organization, time management and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to direct and lead people in the accomplishment of business objectives.
- Ability to proactively anticipate upcoming needs, issues or concerns and put plans into place to minimize disruptions and maximize service to customers and meet needs of the business.
