The Assistant General Manager primarily responsibility is the successful operation of all aspects of a multi-facetted venue including, restaurant, bar, beach and retail. The Assistant General Manager operates second to the GM and the property management team. The team also consists of; Bar Manager, Head Chef/Kitchen Manager, Retail Manager, Dining Room Supervisor, Floor Managers and Entertainment Teams.
- · The AMG reports directly to the General Manager
- · Establishes restaurant business plan by surveying restaurant demand; conferring with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors; preparing financial, marketing, and sales projections, analyses, and estimates.
- · Meets restaurant financial objectives by developing strategic and annual forecasts and budgets; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; establishing and monitoring financial controls; developing and implementing strategies to increase sales.
- · Attracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
- · Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships.
- · Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
- · Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- · Develops their team and takes an active role in mentoring and training

- · 3-5 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant
- · Graduate of an accredited Hospitality Management program or equivalent preferred, but not required
- · Ability to manage a large team while delegating tasks and ensuring consistent follow-up
- · Ability to handle difficult and challenging situations and conversations
