PASTRY SOUS – HUGELY POPULAR CONCEPT – GAUTENG!
Based in the Northern suburbs of JHB this established breakfast & lunch favourite with an excellent reputation is looking for an energetic, strong & passionate pastry Sous to join & lead the team!
With a bakery expansion planned shortly we are looking for SCDP/ Jnr Sous levels to head up the department, experience with luxury cakes; cupcakes; variety of breads, muffins, edgy specialities, desserts++
This will be a focal point of the restaurant with an open baking kitchen suppling both restaurant & retail sales.
Reporting to & working closely with the Head Chef (main kitchen) – You will be responsible for kitchen management, orders, production schedules, costing, pastry menu development & training.
Min 2 years’ SCDP or Junior Sous experience with pastry departments
Trading only in the daytime – you will have early starts & will need to live close to the city so minimise your travel!
Salary Offered: R 9000 (dependent upon experience)
