Warehouse Operations Clerk-FMCG national food business
£18,500-19,500 + company benefits
This is a hands-on role covering a complete range of administrative functions within the warehouse including booking in suppliers, goods receipting of orders, clerical functions for the assembly and despatch of orders and the collation of reports and statistical information.
The successful candidate must have a methodical and organised approach with a good telephone manner and the ability to communicate to all levels. Working to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise will be a key requirement of the role.
Previous experience of using a warehousing management system, although not essential would be desirable. Basic pc skills are essential, knowledge of Word and Excel advantageous.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Previous administrative experience, with excellent customer service skills
- A good understanding of all Microsoft applications
- A team player with previous warehouse experience and the ability to assist in multiple
There is a need for flexibility as the successful candidate will be required to work shift hours of 06.00 – 14.00, 14.00 – 22.00 on alternating shift basis on an any ‘5 from 7 days’ basis.
