Our Executive Team
Janice joined COREcruitment over 5 years ago from a promising background in the licensed retail trade and guest services. Janice has worked and studied internationally, completing her degree in Las Vegas. She excelled in her state-side hospitality studies, especially in the area of finance. During her time in the US Janice had extensive experience of dealing with challenging clients in a high profile guest relations role. Upon her return to London she completed one of the industry's finest management development programs with an up-market wine merchants.
Janice is a friendly and outgoing individual who has proven herself to be determined in her actions and keen to succeed! She focuses mostly on management opportunities within the fast world of retail catering and the highly competitive contract catering market.

Krishnan has over 10 years market experience, focusing extensively on Europe, the Middle East and South America. Coupled with his operational background, Krishnan has also studied Hospitality, Tourism and Facility Management in Spain and Holland, where he achieved a joint honours degree from one of Europe's top Business Schools. Most recently Krishnan has also achieved qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Personal Development (CIPD), the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and an Advanced Diploma in Professional Development & Organisational Culture from a prominent London University. Krishnan led a team at one of the UK's specialist hospitality agencies.
Krishnan enjoys travelling and his favourite experience to date has been teaching English to children in Eastern Europe as part of an outreach programme. He continued this work by teaching in the shantytowns of Rio de Janeiro.

Michelle Wells is a highly motivated and passionate senior recruiter with an excellent track record of recruitment at all levels of management in hotels, bars and restaurants across the world. Michelle comes from a strong restaurant operations background in South Africa, beginning her career at St Elmos in Hout Bay before going on to the famous Mariners Wharf. Loving the hospitality industry, Michelle gained her Hotel Management Diploma at Grainger Bay Hotel School and then moved to the bright lights of London. Completing a year at The Langham Hilton 5-star Hotel as a Front Office Receptionist, she eventually joined the OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar & Brasserie, where she worked her way through reception and reservations to the Finance Department, where she balanced the books for this Harvey Nichols' owned company.
A career change saw Michelle join the recruitment sector where she worked for another hospitality agency and was mentored by Krishnan Doyle. When Krishnan took the opportunity to start CORE, Michelle joined him 6 months later, focusing on Chef Recruitment. In November 2009, Michelle made the decision to move back to Cape Town and so the idea for the SA and International Division was born!
Her recruitment skills are based upon understanding the needs of her clients and her candidates, always integrating with them to make the right match!

Clive joined COREcruitment from a chef background, working in some of London's top rosette and Michelin restaurants. He spent a year working for one of the best fine food suppliers in the Capital and the UK, helping them to set up a new fruit and vegetable division getting produce direct from the French and Italian markets. Since becoming a consultant he has forged a strong working relationship with some of the country's leading restaurants, gastros and hotels. They trust his judgment to find them the perfect match for their requirements.
In his spare time he likes to watch sport, eat out, visit chefs and grow his own herbs and vegetables (weather permitting!)

Craig joined COREcruitment from a venue, event and hospitality background having worked in some of London's iconic venues.
Starting his working life in theatres as a trainee manager, he quickly progressed to become the youngest Theatre Manager in the West End and gained experience across a group of eight venues where he developed a passion for customer service and hospitality.
He went on to manage live music venue, The Forum, then onto a dual role at the London Eye looking after the hospitality operation and the wider day to day operation as duty manager where the team welcomed up to 30,000 guests in any one day.
Whilst working at the Eye, he also took on an additional management position at the Roundhouse, a multi-arts venue in North London.
Craig stepped into recruitment and has not looked back. He particularly enjoys bringing his experience and passion for the industry to his work here at CORE.

Stuart Hills is a highly passionate, driven and dedicated Senior Recruitment Consultant, coming from a hospitality background and with 6 years proven experience at Corecruitment with an excellent track record at building relationships, ensuring the smooth recruitment process is always seen through from start to finish and with experience covering roles in the UK from License trade to leisure
Stuart comes from a high end London restaurant background, starting his career within the Lanesborough hotel, 5* and then moving onward and upward to some great London companies including Harvey Nichols, Hilton and D&D London.
Having started within a FOH role in high end restaurant at the OXO Tower and the Hilton Hotel group moving into a senior Management role he felt it was a natural move to take those skills and move into recruitment. Stuart started at CORE in 2008, working closely with the MD Krishnan Doyle, covering License trade and leisure recruitment whilst also gaining qualifications from The REC and a CIPD.
Over the years he has gone on to oversee all the new starters who join CORE, mentoring them, coaching them to be successful and gain the CORE skills needed to be successful, while also being involved in the recruitment process of the team who join us while we are expanding.
Having worked in both recruitment and hospitality for several years this has given Stuart a great insight into what's right for clients and candidates moving forward.
