This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known luxury 5-star hotel. Set in 24 acres of picturesque Berkshire parkland it is the only hotel in the UK with its own polo fields and an equestrian center with stabling. They offer exquisite comfort, exquisite services and facilities in exquisite surroundings. 

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Housekeeper Manager to join this highly successful estate in Ascot. As Deputy Housekeeper Manager, it will be your responsibility to work with the Management to coach and develop the team and ensure the exceptionally standards are sustained.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Support the Management in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department
  • Attend the management morning meetings
  • Conduct daily briefings to the housekeeping team
  • Check completed bedrooms with an eye for detail, to ensure they are cleaned to the required standards
  • Report design issues and maintenance faults to the correct department
  • Liaise with the Reception department as to which rooms have being completed
  • Create incentives to inspire and motivate the team
  • Create the daily checklists for the Room Attendants and Linen Porters
  • Responsible for stock take, ordering and purchasing
  • Conduct regular stock control and process orders along with the Head housekeeper

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper, Deputy Head Housekeeper or Senior Floor Supervisor, in a luxury hotel
  • Be hands on and be willing to carry out physical work
  • Superb attention to details and understanding of a luxury brand
  • Excellent customer service skills for guest interaction
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team to ensure a productive environment
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills which are capable of nurturing, developing and inspiring staff
  • Approachable, friendly and understanding of the daily needs of a busy housekeeping team
